Quick and Easy Cheese Tortellini With Sausage
Ingredients:
Vegetable Oil
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 – 42 oz. Bag Frozen Cheese Tortellini
1 lb. Mild Italian Sausage (casings removed)
1/4 Cup Sliced Kalamata Olives
1 – 16 Oz. Can Petite Cut Sliced Tomatoes
2 Tsp. Minced Garlic (I use it from the jar)
1 Tsp. Dry Italian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add cheese tortellini and boil until they float to the top. Do not over boil.
While pasta boils, add olive oil to a large frying pan. Fry and crumble sausage until brown. Don’t drain. Add salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Mix well. Add tomatoes and olives. Mix well.
Drain pasta and add back to pot. Add sausage mixture and combine thoroughly. Serve immediately.
I serve this with a nice green salad and garlic ciabatta bread.
Enjoy!

That looks super yummy – and easy – my kind of meal!
Thank you Keisha! It really is. 😉
Can you substitute using black olives
You can I just prefer kalamata olives because they are so much more flavorful.
